A weekly 2.5-hour outdoor workshop designed for all breeds with intermediate skill levels.
These small-group sessions offer a practical and progressive approach to gundog-style training — perfect for pet gundogs, working breeds, and owners who want to develop their dog's confidence, reliability, and focus in real-world field environments.
Workshops are designed as standalone sessions, so you can drop in as your schedule allows — or attend regularly to benefit from a structured skill rotation. Sessions are limited to 8 dogs to ensure plenty of working time and tailored coaching for each dog-handler team.

We cannot accept dogs that are likely to be aggressive towards other dogs or people, 121 options are available for these dogs.
What You’ll Learn
Each week focuses on a specific core skill but not limited to it. The content rotates in a 4-week cycle to allow for variety and progression:
Week 1 – Retrieves & Delivery Marked and memory retrieves, clean delivery to hand, and confident work over distance and terrain.
Week 2 – Stop Whistle & Recall Building reliable responses to the stop whistle and recall cues, even around distractions.
Week 3 – Steadiness & Impulse Control Calm, controlled behaviour around thrown dummies, other dogs, and environmental triggers.
Week 4 – Hunting & Quartering Teaching dogs to use their nose effectively, search systematically, and respond to handler direction.
All exercises are tiered for ability. Beginners will work on foundations, confidence, and clarity, while experienced dogs are challenged with distance, complexity, or distraction-based tasks.

When: Sundays at 1 pm

Group Size: Max 8 dogs
Locations: Bitchet Green (Sevenoaks) and Pembury (Tunbridge Wells) — venue varies weekly. Please ask to be added to the group whatsapp to stay informed
Pricing
Drop-in session: £35 per dog
8-Session Skills Pass: £200 (valid 6 months, £25/session) available here
The pass offers flexibility for those who attend regularly and can be used across any Sunday workshop.
Spaces are limited — pre-booking is required. Book via our online system or contact Oliver for further guidance on suitability.
Optional GPS trackers are available for added peace of mind – just select this option when booking.
Please come prepared with a snack and a drink for yourself, along with anything your dog might need to stay comfortable and relaxed throughout the session, there are no toilet facilities available.
