Puppy Training Services
At Dog Smart we offer one to one training packages for puppies, this ensures that we can tailor each lesson to you and your puppy's needs, giving individual attention and supporting you through those early months with your new pup.
Pup Smart packages are available in 2 options
Option 1 - Most suited to start before your puppy comes home or prior to being allowed out until vaccinations are complete
Option 2 - Most suited to start after vaccinations are complete

General Training Services
At Dog Smart we offer one to one training packages for general life skills training, this allows us to tailor each lesson to you and your dogs needs. Ensuring that we can give individual attention and support. Afterall, every dog, relationship and family is different.
Life Skills packages are available in 2 options
Option 1 - Most suited to start out, held at the venue in Brasted where we can control the distractions and work safely off leash
Option 2 - Life Skills out and about, we come to you and show you how to use what you have learned in the real work on walk or home consults.
These are limited to Monday & Wednesday Evenings and all day on Tuesday and you will need to contact us to arrange the appointments.
Life Skills packages are intended for teaching the skills you need for everyday life with your dog. It is accompanied by our online training course that you can follow along with at home and at your own pace. Our Life Skills courses are very popular during the adolescent stage of your dogs life, following our Pup Smart course and for newly homed dogs, some of the skills we focus on are (but not exclusive) -

Because these are one to one session we can tailor the training time to whatever your needs are, the time is all yours.

Behaviour Consultations
At Dog Smart we offer one to one behaviour work for dogs that are suffering from anxieties and reactivity, the dogs are able to work in our secure venue at Brasted entirely on their own and then we can help you take this work out into the world.
Behaviour consultations are approached on a case by case basis in a holistic manner. The whole dog matters not just the behaviour itself.
We often use referral services such as; veterinary support, physio, nutrition and ,separation specialists, clinical behaviourists, scent work and activity trainers.
We will not prescribe to the use of aversive/corrective behaviour techniques or tools in our behaviour work.
Our ethics extend into this area of our business as they do throughout but we will support clients towards change if this is something they are already accustomed to, we are hear to help you and not to cast judgement.
Agility
Aglility is run in a combination of recurring group classes and 121 appointments. It is taught by Becs at the weekends in an outdoor environment at Little Warden
Agility is a very popular sport and spaces are limited, be sure to sign up to stay informed
Most suited for dogs from 12 months old
Puppies are able to start gundog one to ones from an early age, and we encourage you to do so if this is a pursuit you wish to journey on.
We have worked with dogs for picking up purposes as well as those dogs that will accompany owners in the beating line.
We also teach it as a recreational sport and a breed specific enrichment outlet and many of these skills transfer into real work application, you can rest assured that it is done without fear and intimidation.

Dog Smart are equipped with automatic air dummy launchers as well as blank firing ones that can be used to simulate shooting and work around gunshot for those dogs that are ready.

Dogs can be seen at the Little Warden Venue as well as a site in Bitchet Green near Sevenoaks.
​
Bitchet Green allows more advanced level of training as well as use of the dummy launchers and shot.

Gundogs
At Dog Smart we offer one to one and limited group gundog classes.
We can also host smaller groups by arrangement if for example you would like to train with some friends.
