The Gundog Development Club is the natural next step after completing the Dog Smart Beginners Gundog Course. Designed to bridge the gap between our structured beginners' programme and our ongoing Sunday training groups, it provides the opportunity to continue developing your dog's skills through regular, small-group coaching.

Unlike a fixed course, the Development Club runs every week, allowing you to train consistently while fitting sessions around work, holidays and family commitments. With a maximum of just four dogs per session, you'll receive plenty of individual coaching while benefiting from training alongside other handlers working towards similar goals.

Every session is tailored to the dogs attending and may include hunting, retrieves, steadiness, stop whistle, handling, memory work, blind retrieves, distractions, problem solving and developing the reliability needed to progress into our Sunday Intermediate Gundog Group.

Whether you're refining foundation skills, working through a specific challenge or preparing for the next stage of your training journey, the Development Club offers a supportive environment where both you and your dog can continue to progress.

Important Information

• Sessions are held every Saturday at 9:00am.

• Each session lasts 90 minutes.

• Maximum of 4 dogs per class to ensure a high level of individual coaching.

• Advance booking is essential and all places are subject to availability.

• Session passes expire after their stated validity period.

• Unused sessions cannot be carried over beyond the expiry date.

• To avoid disappointment, please book your sessions immediately after purchasing a session pass.
