We now live with six of our own dogs, they work and play alongside us in our day to day life, this page is dedicated to them.
Grandad dog, Briar is now 14 and is enjoying his retirement, he set the foundation for the other dogs we have in our family and has supported numerous Puppy clients as well as being a resilient stooge dogs in behaviour cases over his years.
Sam was our first Many Tears rescue dog, he was reactive towards other dogs and oh boy did he have a high predatory drive, he was not without his challenges, it was devastating news to find out he had a terminal cancer just as his behaviour was turning a corner when helped us raise Percy`s foster litter. He left us to early.
The only lady of the household, willow was Becs second agility dog after Briar, she is our little princess and although she is a sensitive soul she took Becs to crufts in the novice agility cup.
She is now retired from the sport but enjoys being a spaniel with her dad at every opportunity instead, while keeping those boys in check!
Percy is slightly different, this cavi/cocker/pug was born with us during an emergency foster, we raised him and his other 4 litter mates, with the assistance of his mum Figgy. All the puppies and mum eventually found their new lives, but Percy stayed and this little dog is our have ago hero! He does bits in gundogs, agility, scent work and tracking, his enthusiasm to learn is unstoppable.
This boy is something else, part dog, seemingly part human. Teaks journey in life started with huge medical procedures, he had both his elbows operated on withing his first 8 months of life and spent a large part of his puppyhood and teens, confined to leash and pen rest.
In that time he learned so much that he has become a dog that will pick up on our language extremely fast.
Teak is my hunter, he has mountains of energy and speed, power and stamina, he likes to do man trailing and scent work and his nose never lies to him, his tracking and air scenting skills are something we often marvel over, in his HPR routes his HP are his real strength
He is a kind soul and although he is very different to Briar he is now taking up Briars role.
Harry we adopted a little latter in his life, but still "pre-teen" This little English Springer Spaniel is as mad as a box of frogs! He is our red bull dog!
He is sensitive to unfamiliar dogs and social overcrowding, a little bit needy of resources, but this little dog was born to work, he can be a pet providing he has that working outlet as part of his day.
I've never had a dog that has so much natural potential in his retrieve, his only trouble is that he throws down 150% so his stamina isn't that great, but he's still a young dog with a lot to learn and to experience.
Jimmy the unknown is a little rescue pup, he is supposed to be a Border Collie but we might have to confirm that! Right now he's just a little innocent puppy that hasn't been given the best start to life, we have our paws and fingers crossed that he makes progress and gets to grow up a healthy and happy dog
